Most of the scheduling software these days will allow you to print a treatment plan, but they often include a lot of technical dental lingo. Create Welcome Emails To All New Patients

This one is a biggy! As soon as your receptionist receives a call from a brand new patient, they enter them into SAM and click the new patient option. This will immediately send out a thank you email from your office with your picture, directions and a little welcome message from you. Talk about creating relationship. We all know that we are in the Relationship Era. If you have a pdf of your new patient forms, we can include that as an attachment as well. To use, simply click the "Send welcome email" option when your receptionist receives all the patient's information after booking their first appointment. You can see in the diagram below that the check box is located above the "create patient" button.The other benefit to this is that the patient will now be entered into SAM. When they come in to their appointment, the assistant simply brings up the patient's chart! It doesn't get much better than that.
